Mexico is more modern than you might think

I had passed by this booth several times in the past, but today is the first time I ever saw a long line. It had me going for a moment and then I remembered the water bill came yesterday.

You see, this is one of several kiosks around the city where Zacatecans can pay their state taxes and water bills. They can also order certified copies of birth certificates and marriage licenses plus make payments on government issued loans.
I've seen the same kind of kiosk in
other cities and other states in Mexico.
Sure blows those old Taco Bell commercials and Speedy Gonzalez cartoons out of the water
